Turn Vast.ai GPU listings into a cloud gaming setup

Raw GPU capacity is only one part of a cloud gaming machine. Noland uses the marketplace selection from your Vast.ai account and provisions the Linux environment, NVIDIA stack, Sunshine host, and WireGuard networking needed to prepare it for direct streaming.

Average provisioning time is 10–15 minutes. That automation reduces manual infrastructure setup, but game installation, account sign-in, and title-specific configuration can still take additional time.

Vast.ai supply is a live marketplace rather than a fixed hardware catalog. GPU models, host locations, configurations, and prices can change, and the listing you used previously may not be available for the next session.

Evaluate more than the GPU name. The hardware configuration must suit the game, while host location and network route influence streaming responsiveness; price, capacity, and proximity need to be considered together.

Noland's monthly subscription is $0. The Vast.ai account is responsible for marketplace compute charges while the selected instance runs, including time spent provisioning, installing, downloading, or sitting idle.

Typical overall compute is around $0.10–$0.40 per hour, but this is not guaranteed pricing. Live supply and the chosen configuration determine the actual rate, so review the listing before launch and verify that the instance is stopped after use.

Noland provisions Linux, not a Windows VM. Game compatibility depends on Linux support, launchers, anti-cheat, DRM, and required Windows-only features, which means access to a suitable GPU does not guarantee that a particular game will run.

Streaming results vary too. Noland's measured overhead is about 8 ms above natural route latency, while total latency also includes routing, local networking, encoding, decoding, input, and display; no host can be selected with a guaranteed FPS or end-to-end latency.

Use game-supported cloud saves or another suitable backup workflow where available instead of assuming files will remain available beyond an instance's lifecycle. Keep account credentials and API access under your control, and remove access you no longer intend to use.

Before ending a session, close the game cleanly, allow any supported save synchronization to complete, stop the marketplace instance, and confirm its status. These steps help protect progress and prevent unintended runtime charges.
